We have a need for self-motivated customer service-oriented Inspectors with strong written and verbal communication skills.The Inspector will provide accurate and detailed inspections reports with all proper documentation on improvements and complications. The ideal successful candidate has and is competent with the following licenses RME-I BPAT FAL FEL-K.Although not required it is beneficial to also have FEL-AThis position has a salary range of35 per hourdepending on experienceand licenses.Job ResponsibilitiesPerformance of daily weekly monthly andor annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various sized fire extinguishers fire alarms fire sprinkler systems fire sprinkler pumps and tanks kitchen hoods special hazard systems backflows and exit lights.Repair replace fill and tag all fire extinguishers.Service test and inspect all fire life safety systems.Complete electronic andor handwritten inspection reports.Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.Assist in the scheduling and completion of assigned duties.Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment.Job QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Two years of experience as a licensed inspector in the fire protection industry.Has and is competent with the following licenses RME-I BPAT FAL FEL-K.Understand NFPA National Fire Protection Association and building and fire codes.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.Valid drivers license in accordance with company policy required.Able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodationRegular bending reaching climbing and walkingPlease visitwww.afpgusa.comcareersfor more information or to see all job openings.American Fire Protection Group is an equal opportunity employer.
