Responsibilities:
Develop new business through leads, referrals, outbound calls, and other sales opportunities.
Meet with prospective and existing customers to identify their insurance and financial service needs.
Provide insurance quotes and explain available coverage options.
Recommend appropriate auto, home, renters, life, health, and other insurance products.
Follow up with prospects and customers to build relationships and close sales.
Work toward individual and agency sales goals.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products to existing
Maintain required insurance licenses and complete ongoing training.
Follow agency procedures and applicable insurance regulations.
Work closely with other team members to help the agency achieve its overall goals.
Maintain accurate customer information and document sales activities.
Assist customers with policy questions and coverage changes when needed.
Provide friendly, professional, and timely customer service.
Build long-term customer relationships and encourage referrals.
Stay knowledgeable about State Farm products, services, and available coverage options.
Licensing Requirements:
Must obtain and maintain a Property & Casualty insurance license within 30 days of employment.
Must obtain and maintain a Life & Health insurance license within 60 days of employment.
