The multimodality technologist routinely works in 2 or more specialties for which they qualify by licensure and Baptist Health South Florida requirements. The multi-modality technologist must rotate in the department's "on call" schedule where applicable. Estimated pay range for this position is $40.31 - $52.40 / hour depending on experience. Degrees:
ARRT Registered Technologist- Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Nuchal Translucency Quality Review.
Certified Radiologic Technologist.
NMTCB Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist.
Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA approved program and have 2 or more certifications in the following modalities: Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Mammography, Non-Invasive Vascular Sonography and Echocardiography.
Six months experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Recent graduates may be considered.
Licensure in the applicable modalities as required by the State of Florida.
Registration or certification as required by the Baptist Health South Florida technologist job description for the applicable modalities.
The technologist from a site where the business has been determined must routinely perform studies from both Tier 1 and Tier 2 in order to qualify as a Multi Modality Technologist.
Technologist for Maternal Fetal Medicine must have Nuchal Translucency Certification.
Advanced Multi-Modality 3D Lab Certification.
Minimum Required Experience: 1 Year
