Job Summary

Provides quality patient care to all patients within two or more medical imaging departments. Performs

high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follows

standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other

associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and upholds current standards of

practice for the unit.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required

Associate Degree Preferred Associate's degree, strongly preferred

Bachelor Degree Preferred Bachelor's degree, preferred

License/Certifications Requirement

Registered Radiology Technologist American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required

Registered Technologist, Radiology American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Required Any of the following: ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR), R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT) ; R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT) Basic Life Support American Heart Association Required

Minimum Experience Requirements

1 year imaging experience
