Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support our portfolio of four residential properties totaling 189 units in Mattapan and Hyde Park. Working closely with the Senior Property Manager, Administrative Assistant, and maintenance staff, your duties and responsibilities will include:
Performing initial certifications and recertifications for residents under affordable housing programs such as PRAC 202 and LIHTC.
Proactively processing applications for upcoming vacancies and leasing available units.
Processing invoices and managing accounts receivable.
Rent collections and bank deposits.
Posting and reconciling subsidy payments.
Responding to resident inquiries and handling any issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinating and overseeing maintenance and repair work, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Maintaining accurate records of resident communications, leases, and property maintenance.
Overseeing legal cases and working with the site attorney.
Participating in preparation of monthly reports for the ownership group.
Processing the month end closing reports.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and property policies.
Other administrative duties to support the Senior Property Manager, as needed.
The work hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Your work week will be split between sites in Mattapan and Hyde Park. Some travel between sites will be required.
