Nexus Employment is hiring an experienced Facilities Maintenance professional to support a cluster of sites in the Portage, Indiana area. You’ll be the go-to problem solver who keeps buildings safe, comfortable, and fully operational.

What a typical day might look like

You start your morning reviewing service requests. A nearby site needs an AC unit checked, another has a flickering light, and a tenant reported a small plumbing issue. You load up your hand tools, light machinery, and supplies, then rotate between properties to diagnose and resolve issues. Midday, you patch and paint drywall, complete a light fabrication task, and wrap up by testing electrical components to ensure everything is working as intended.
