    Description

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Support budgeting, planning, and execution of forestry operations Prioritize work activities for the forestry department and vendors Harvest planning and supervision Implement silvicultural prescriptions Asset protection Conduct forest inventories Streamside management zone and boundary marking Collect GPS field data Prescribed burning Logging and planting supervision Computer-based reporting and management

    Job Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree in forestry Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field Outstanding safety record across all previous employment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ESRI software Experience conducting performance assessments and applying appropriate control measures Timber-sales administration and inspections Forest measurements
