Responsibilities include:Supervise and mentor maintenance techniciansPrioritize and assign daily work ordersPerform maintenance and repairs as neededEnsure apartments are move-in ready through quality unit turnsInspect buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to maintain curb appealTroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, and other building systemsCoordinate preventative maintenance programsMaintain inventory, supplies, and maintenance recordsEnsure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standardsProvide outstanding customer service to residentsAssist neighboring communities when neededWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications:Previous maintenance supervisory experience in multifamily housing or a related industryStrong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesStrong customer service and communication skillsBasic computer proficiencyAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishValid driver's license with reliable transportationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with:Plumbing repairsElectrical repairsAppliance repairDrywall and paintingGeneral carpentryHVAC troubleshootingGrounds maintenanceEPA and/or CPO certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)Experience overseeing maintenance at multiple properties is a plusWhy Join Nxt Property Management?At Nxt Property Management, we believe great communities start with great people.
