Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Multi-Skilled Technician to join our patient care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Multi-Skilled Technician performs and assists with routine and STAT blood draws, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and provides direct patient care support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform routine and STAT phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Obtain and document EKGs as ordered.
- Assist nursing staff with patient care activities and clinical procedures.
- Monitor and report patient conditions or concerns to the supervising RN.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
- Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transportation.
- Maintain equipment and supplies required for patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection prevention standards
- Support a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG performance required.
- Prior hospital experience preferred.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
- Patient Care Technician certification required
