Multi-Trade Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Lakeland, FL 33813
A day in the life
Start your morning with a walk-through of the property, checking building systems and scanning for anything that needs attention. As work orders come in, you’ll pivot from troubleshooting an electrical issue to fixing a leak, and then swap gears to assist with setting a new fixture in place. By afternoon, you’ll coordinate with teammates to wrap up a larger repair, tidy your workspace, restock parts, and document what’s complete—leaving the facility safer and sharper than when you started.
What you’ll handle
- Perform a wide range of building maintenance and repair tasks across facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs to spot problems early and verify safety and code compliance.
- Respond quickly to requests from staff and leadership, prioritizing urgent items.
- Support the installation of new equipment and fixtures when needed.

- Partner with coworkers to deliver efficient solutions on multi-person projects.
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas while following all safety practices.
