District Manager – Multi-Unit (Automotive Industry Preferred) - NO RELOCATION OFFERED


We are seeking an experienced, hands-on District Manager to oversee multiple locations and drive operational excellence, profitability, and exceptional customer experiences. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves including stepping into store operations when coverage or emergencies require it.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and teams to achieve sales, profitability, and service goals.
  • Ensure all stores maintain high operational standards, compliance, and safety.
  • Analyze performance data and implement strategies to improve results across the district.
  • Partner with Store Managers on staffing, training, and employee relations to build high-performing teams.
  • Drive local marketing and community engagement to increase customer traffic.
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Regularly visit and support stores including providing on-site leadership coverage when needed.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-first culture that aligns with company values.

Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of multi-unit management experience (automotive or related retail preferred).
  • Proven success leading teams, improving store performance, and managing budgets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in standard business software.
  • Valid driver’s license REQUIRED and ability to travel within the district.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
