Multicraft Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Milwaukee, WI

When the production floor quiets for the night, you step in. From 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on a rotating schedule, you keep a busy manufacturing operation running safely and smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot complex equipment, prevent breakdowns before they happen, and partner with production to maximize uptime.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Schedule: Rotating (every other weekend off)
• Pay: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour
• Overtime opportunities available

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery and plant utilities.
• Troubleshoot failures quickly to minimize downtime and restore output.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Document work orders and repairs accurately within a CMMS.
• Maintain an orderly, safe work area and strictly follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with production and fellow techs to drive equipment reliability improvements.
• Identify and report equipment concerns and potential safety hazards promptly.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong cross-discipline troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience in at least three: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Welding, HVAC.
• Comfortable using a CMMS to track work and parts.
• Works well independently and within a team.
• Own basic hand tools; able to lift up to 90 lbs.
• Willing to complete required training: forklift, aerial lift, and Lockout/Tagout.
