Location Columbus OHCleveland-Cliffs Columbus Coatings located in Columbus Ohio is actively seeking Multi-Craft Process Technicians to support our Hot Dip Galvanizing facility. This USW-operated plant runs 247 and relies on highly skilled technicians to keep operations running safely and efficiently.We are specifically looking for candidates with a strong electrical background-including experience with troubleshooting PLCs motor controls and industrial electrical systems-who can thrive in a fast-paced high-production manufacturing environment.Summary of ResponsibilitiesParticipate in team meetings and collaborate with peers and supervisors.Operate overhead cranes and other production equipment.Perform quality control checks to ensure product standards.Execute mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 3 years in manufacturing OR4 years of military experience OR2 years of technical school with certificate.Mechanical andor electrical aptitude.Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.Valid drivers license.Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment.Willingness to work weekends holidays and overtime 8-hour shifts.Capable of standing on concrete for 8 hours.Pass all pre-employment requirements such as aptitude testing interview process urine analysis and hair sample drug screening background check and post-offer physical.Preferred QualificationsTechnical training or certifications in industrial maintenance or electrical systems.Experience in steel or heavy manufacturing environments.Strong hands-on industrial electrical maintenanceCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
