Job Description
- Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates for multifamily residential projects.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure accurate pricing and scope coverage.
- Develop and maintain project budgets throughout the preconstruction process.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and provide cost-saving recommendations without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and project teams to evaluate design and budget impacts.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to identify potential risks and cost exposures.
- Assist in preparing bid packages, proposals, qualifications, and scope documents.
- Track market pricing trends, labor rates, and material costs throughout South Florida.
- Support project handoff meetings and provide estimating insights to operations teams upon project award.

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of estimating experience within multifamily or commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, and digital takeoff platforms.
- Experience estimating ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, or podium-style developments preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple pursuits while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
