For more than five decades, they have successfully delivered projects ranging from garden-style apartments and podium developments to student housing, hospitality, senior living, and mixed-use communities.
With a reputation for quality, safety, and employee satisfaction, the company continues to expand its presence throughout the Northeast. Due to a growing project portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent to help lead the successful execution of upcoming projects.
Description
The Multifamily Construction Superintendent will:
- Oversee all field operations from groundbreaking through project completion
- Lead subcontractors and field personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule
- Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors to review project progress, upcoming activities, and delivery schedules
- Identify and resolve design deficiencies, scheduling conflicts, and construction challenges before they impact the project
- Maintain project schedules and coordinate daily field activities
- Enforce safety protocols to ensure the jobsite consistently meets or exceeds OSHA standards
- Monitor workmanship and administer quality control procedures throughout construction
- Maintain project documentation including daily reports, RFI logs, change order logs, and submittal tracking
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local building codes and project requirements
- Communicate effectively with owners, architects, project managers, construction managers, and subcontractors to drive project success
- Foster a positive and productive jobsite culture while maintaining accountability across the project team
Profile
The Multifamily Construction Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of Construction Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
- Experience leading ground-up multifamily projects valued at $10 million or greater
- Experience with apartments, student housing, senior living, mixed-use, or hospitality projects preferred
- OSHA certification preferred
- Demonstrated success leading projects and managing large field teams
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety, quality control, and project coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
