Multifamily Facilities Maintenance Technician (Sherman, TX)

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a property team in Sherman, TX to add a skilled Maintenance Technician to their crew. We’re a full-service staffing firm supporting companies across Texoma with full-time, part-time, and temporary opportunities. A day in the role

You’ll move from preventative care to urgent fixes, keeping residents safe and comfortable:

• Tackle routine and emergency service on HVAC systems.
• Respond quickly to resident service requests and work orders.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Turn apartments for move-in: painting, cleaning, and making needed repairs.
• Follow safety and building codes on every task.
• Keep tools, equipment, and shop areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

What you bring

• HVAC Certification (required)
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required)
• At least 2 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• Hands-on knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
