The Lead Superintendent will take full ownership of a 330‑unit, 4‑story garden‑style multifamily project that has just broken ground. This individual will serve as the primary onsite field leader, driving schedule, safety, quality, and subcontractor coordination from early sitework through final delivery.

With decades of experience and thousands of units delivered, the company is financially stable, privately held, and highly regarded for its execution of complex wood‑frame multifamily projects. The organization continues to expand its footprint across North Carolina.
Description
- Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through turnover.
- Manage subcontractors, inspections, site logistics, and daily work planning.
- Drive schedule adherence, quality control, and jobsite safety.
- Coordinate framing, MEP, inspections, and finishes across multiple buildings.
- Conduct subcontractor meetings and daily coordination huddles.
- Maintain strong communication with project management and operations leadership.
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff onsite.
Profile
A successful Multifamily Lead Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent on large‑scale multifamily projects.
- Demonstrated success delivering ground‑up, wood‑frame apartment communities.
- Experience running projects from start to finish required.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage large subcontractor teams.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, schedule‑driven environments.
- Willing to work onsite and lead from the field.
Job Offer
- Base Salary: $150K - $175K
- Bonus: 20% annual bonus paid quarterly
- Vehicle Allowance: $850/month
