Job DetailsWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from initial conception to completion. This includes overseeing all operations, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, managing the project budget, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget while adhering to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up construction, construction scheduling, project management, and contract management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Manage project budget, including cost control and procurement.
- Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve project goals.
- Manage site operations, ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with owners, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Utilize project management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project, to track project progress and manage resources.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing risk management strategies as necessary.
- Solve problems as they arise, using your strong problem-solving skills to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in ground-up construction.
- Proven experience in construction scheduling, contract management, cost control, and procurement.
- Strong leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
- Excellent strategic planning and budgeting skills.
- Experience in site management, including adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with owners and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify and manage project risks.
- Experience in vendor management and subcontractor coordination.
