Our Quality Control Technician will be responsible for all final quality control inspections to ensure adherence to company quality standards for all mechanical, electrical, structural, and finish trades. What you'll doConducts inspections upon building/project completion and uses inspection checklists as a tool for monitoring compliance.Prepare post-inspection reports, including documentation of QC inspection activities and observations.Completes other Quality Assurance documents and reports as required by the Stoa QA programCompile data into useful feedback tools for QC Managers, trades, field teams, and vendor partners.Acts as an "internal customer" prior to the Community Management team to ensure high levels of quality and functionality are delivered.Manage your schedule between active jobs and plan QC visits based on the project schedule accordingly.Participate in preparatory meetings and regular progress meetings in the assigned area.Perform other duties as specified by QA Manager.Job Requirements & Skills1-5 years of experience in residential construction; other pertinent work experience will be considered. Completed coursework in construction management accepted in lieu of experience Ability to work independently without supervision in a deadline-driven environmentHigh level of organization skills and acute attention to detailCurrent driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to haul tool bag of equipment and small ladder in vehicleThe position requires 70-80% travel but may go up to 90% during peak times.Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs and to stand and walk for long periods of time.Why Join Stoa Group?Stoa was established in 2017 to construct large-scale multifamily developments throughout the Gulf Coast.
