Join our dynamic and enthusiastic construction team as a Permanent Multifamily Senior Superintendent. We are seeking a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in leading and managing multifamily construction projects, specifically Garden Style Apartments. This role is integral to our success, and we are committed to providing an environment where you can thrive and make a real difference in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Multifamily Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in adherence to high quality standards.
Key duties include:
1. Supervising all construction activities related to multifamily housing projects, including Garden Style Apartments.
2. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure projects are executed effectively.
3. Developing and implementing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing the delivery of materials and equipment.
4. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
5. Proactively identifying and mitigating potential problems or delays in construction projects.
6. Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, budget, and timeline.
7. Ensuring the project adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations and codes.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Multifamily Senior Superintendent position will have a strong background in construction management, specifically in the area of multifamily housing projects.
Key qualifications include:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily housing projects.
2. Proven experience with Garden Style Apartments construction is a must.
3. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
5. Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to foresee potential issues and implement effective solutions.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
