Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Multifamily Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to lead and oversee multifamily construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing on-site construction activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of the construction process for multifamily projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
2. Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that construction is proceeding in line with the project plan and safety regulations.
4. Identify potential risks and develop effective risk management strategies to mitigate them.
5. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
6. Resolve any on-site issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
7. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing them with updates on project progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
8. Implement strategic planning initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of construction operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role, with a focus on multifamily construction.
3. Proven experience in risk management, team leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control procedures.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team of professionals.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders.
8. Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to enhance construction operations.
9. Must possess a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
