Description
- Manage day-to-day field operations for multifamily construction projects from site mobilization through final turnover and occupancy.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, and sequencing to maintain schedule milestones and proactively address delays or field challenges.
- Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards, project specifications, building codes, and company expectations.
- Enforce jobsite safety programs and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct inspections, manage punch list activities, and oversee unit turnover to ensure timely project completion and owner satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, ownership groups, and municipal inspectors to resolve issues and maintain project alignment.
Profile
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience managing field operations for ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, podium, wrap, or garden-style residential construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control in a multifamily environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve field issues quickly while maintaining project schedules and quality standards.
- Proficiency with construction management software and technology, including Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and scheduling platforms.
