Atlas Preparatory Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our elementary school team for the upcoming school year. This position is ideal for an educator committed to supporting students with limited English proficiency and helping them achieve academic success.
The ESL Teacher will provide targeted English language instruction to elementary students, while collaborating with classroom teachers to support language development across content areas. We are looking for someone who is student-centered, collaborative, and enthusiastic about working with a diverse population of learners.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver effective ESL instruction to students at varying levels of English proficiency
Work closely with classroom teachers to support language acquisition within core subjects
Build strong, supportive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instruction as needed
Participate actively in school-based professional development and coaching opportunities
Qualifications
Valid teaching certification with ESL endorsement
Experience working with English Language Learners preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skill
