The Office of the Provost seeks a highly skilled and collaborative communications professional to serve as a Multimedia Specialist. This position plays a key role in supporting the Provost office strategic communications infrastructure through web management, digital communications and multimedia content development. The position works across multiple academic and administrative units to ensure digital content, messaging, and communication initiatives align 

with Provost office priorities, university standards, and audience engagement goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, update, and maintain website content and digital assets that support university communications and marketing strategies.
  • Manage web content and coordinate website updates across the Office of the Provost and affiliated units.
  • Develop and maintain effective, user-centered web pages and digital resources.
  • Ensure websites comply with university branding, accessibility, content governance, and communication standards.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to digital user experiences and website functionality.
  • Lead web management, digital communications, branding, project coordination, and commencement ticketing operations to support the Office of the Provost’s strategic communication.
  • Support institutional branding and communication standards by developing and maintaining consistent, university aligned digital content, web resources, and design templates across academic and administrative units.
  • Coordinate digital communications projects, workflows, and stakeholder collaboration to support university-wide initiatives, public-facing events, strategic communications, and continuous improvement of digital communication processes.
  • Administer and supports the AudienceView commencement ticketing platform, including ticket distribution, communications, inquiry management, reporting, scanner operations, and workflow documentation.
  • Coordinate commencement ticketing operations by collaborating with OIT, event partners, and university staff to provide training, operational support, and a seamless graduation experience for students and families.
Qualifications:

Level II:

  • Bachelor's degree In Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and 2 years of experience in multimedia technologies.

Level III:

  • Bachelor's degree In Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and 4 years of experience in multimedia technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting web content management, digital communications, marketing, multimedia production, or related professional communications functions.
  • Experience in higher education communications, marketing, or web administration.
  • Knowledge of digital communications strategy, user experience principles, and website governance.
  • Experience creating and managing multimedia content and digital campaigns.
  • Familiarity with email marketing, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, or digital engagement tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale events, ticketing platforms, or operational communications functions.
