Position Summary

The Multimedia Support Specialist will work with The Second City's Creative Services Art & Video team to assist in the development, production, and delivery of all print and digital marketing materials as well as help manage various video libraries for projects both internal and external/client facing. The Second City's Creative Services Department services the entire company, creating design and video assets for Resident Stages, Touring Company, Training Center and Second City Works across the company's main locations in Chicago and Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management Support duties:

• Overseeing and maintaining the organization of video content on both internal and client facing platforms while managing the upload of various video assets.
• Manage user accounts and create login credentials for both internal staff and external clients across various platforms; troubleshoot access-related issues and provide support when needed.
• Preform regular audits of Second City's various video libraries to identify broken video links or outdated content.
• Assist with uploading and maintaining content on our in-house digital signage.

Creative Content Support duties:

• Assist in creative concepting and pitching.
• Asset digging (sourcing fonts, stock photos/videos, textures, icons, etc.)
• Formatting files for animation and print.
• Resizing designs for various digital and print platforms.
• Resizing animations and videos for digital platforms.
• Finalizing designs for print (adding bleed, color coding, resolution, check, etc.)
• Assist Second City's Video Producer with creation of archive video clips and various video uploads to YouTube.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Media, Production, Design or related field; or 1+ year of equivalent work experience.
• A strong knowledge and experience in working with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Experience in animation and video editing is a plus (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
