ABOUT OUR RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT:
Our Radiology Department conducts approximately 25,000 imaging exams each year, utilizing advanced equipment such as the Philips ingenuity 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D mammography. We offer CT and general x-ray services around the clock, while ultrasound and MRI are available on weekdays, with weekend ultrasound call coverage.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are in search of a skilled Radiologic Technologist who possesses outstanding customer service abilities. Cross-training in additional modalities and certification (based on departmental needs) is required, with current mammography or CT certification highly preferred. The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing routine, trauma, and intraoperative radiological imaging.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have successfully completed a formal radiological technology program from a CAHEA accredited institution and hold certification from the ARRT or an equivalent body.
A current, unrestricted Vermont state license to practice radiologic technology is required.
Demonstrated proficiency as a licensed professional is essential, including ongoing professional development to stay current in the Radiology Tech field.
Maintaining certification in the Technologist’s specialized modality is necessary.
CT and/or Mammography certification is strongly preferred.
SCHEDULE:
The schedule may vary based on certifications. Traditionally, this position has involved working four 10-hour shifts one week and three 12-hour shifts the following week. If certified in mammography or CT, evening hours may be included. For those certified in CT, overnight shifts may be required for vacation coverage. We can discuss departmental scheduling needs and personal preferences during the interview. Currently, participation in a weekend shift rotation is not mandatory, but it may be required in the future if the need arises.
If CT-certified, the call rotation is every sixth weekend for backup coverage, with a one-hour response time.
