Diagnostic Imaging Technician

Performs a variety of diagnostic Radiographic, CT and MRI images of optimum diagnostic quality according to department policies and procedures. Obtains all required documentation/supplies. Assures patient information is correct. Maintains clean organized work area, ensuring supplies are readily available.

Salary and Position Summary

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. Full Time, Rotate Position Summary Under the guidance of the Imaging Services Director/Manager, performs diagnostic imaging procedures in two or more modalities (MRI, CT, Radiology), maintaining ARRT registries/certifications. Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge of the modalities and related equipment. Performs routine protocols in all modalities and enters timely documentation in Cerner and PACS. Meets departmental performance expectations and customer service standards of excellence.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Imaging Program
  • Clinical experience in more than one modality (Radiology, CT, MRI)
  • License: ARRT, Certification in CT/MRI
  • Certification: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

Additional Requirements

  • #LI-TK1) and documentation of CT or MRI experience, must obtain advance credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire.
  • AHA BLS; state license if required
