Samkee America is hiring Machine Operators, Die-casting Operators, Quality Technicians, Mold Technician, Forklift Operator, & Tool Operator. Candidates will be placed in one of these 6 positions in the plant based on needs and experience.
Our company is leading the Korean die-casting industry as a people-oriented, future-oriented company composed of 200 employees with long experience, expertise and proficiency. Currently, we are developing and producing die-casting products for all areas of automobiles, including engines, transmissions, and body parts.
Multiple Positions
Pay: $14-$17.00 per hour
Machining Operator
Duties / Responsibilities
Review job materials located at workstations for job running
Operate machining center (Vertical + Horizontal) in a safe and responsible manner
Change tools
Lubrication of die and cores as required
Trouble shooting the machining line
To visually inspect machining defects
Assure production of quality parts
Perform, record safety checks on machining and address issue properly
Ability to recognize machining defects in critical areas of parts
Visually inspect parts and complete checks per the process standard
Complete required production paperwork (uptime, production logs, scrap, etc)
Able to sort and rework as needed
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Perform all job duties with safety and quality as primary focus
Must be technically inclined, ability to work with most hand tools and some power tools
Take care of proper follow up for emergency situation
Die-casting Operator
Duties / Responsibilities
Review job materials located at workstations for job running
Operate high-pressure die-casting machine in a safe and responsible manner
Remove castings from die and place on conveyor
Change mold
Lubrication of die and cores as required
Freeing die of any excess debris or flash
Monitor Press and make sure castings continue to be produced
To visually inspect raw castings defects on an ongoing basis
Assure production of quality parts
Ability to recognize die casting defects in critical areas of parts
Visually inspect parts and complete checks per the process standard
Complete required production paperwork (Uptime, production logs, scraps etc).
Able to sort and rework as needed
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Perform all job duties with safety and quality as primary focus
Must be technically inclined, ability to work with most hand tools and some power tools
Take care of proper follow up for emergency situation
Quality Technician
Duties / Responsibilities
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on regulatory requirements and internal guidelines, etc.
Document and review required information in quality records per standard operating procedures.
Review floor documentation for accuracy and completion.
Visual inspection of parts for making pass/fail quality decisions.
Responsible for measuring the dimensions utilizing calibrated measuring equipment
Responsible for knowing and following inspection procedures
Control and understand all functions of automated equipment within area of responsibility including but not limited to start up and shut down of machines to ensure continuous operation and constant output of products.
Conduct quality control measurements within area of responsibility by ensuring equipment is operating within specified tolerances/parameters.
Trouble shoot, identifies quality defects as they occur
Segregate and contain affected product, own and perform non-conformance investigations including all necessary paperwork
Other duties assigned
Qualifications
Lifting and/or moves up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move in excess of 40 pounds using lifting aids, techniques, or appropriate assistance
Use of hands and fingers to manipulate equipment is required
Excellent computer skills
Good communication, written and oral skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work cross-functionally
Working knowledge of a microscope and ability to measure accurately
Capable to perform visual inspection of products
Mold Technician
Duties / Responsibilities
Cleaning and maintaining molds and equipment
Performing inspections on mold components
Repairing any damages to the mold or machinery
Assembling and disassembling new and/or refurbished molds
Evaluating molds to determine root cause of molding issues
Checking mold functionality for air, water and hydraulic effectivenes
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with different types of molding machines and materials
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving molding issues
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to molding operations
Melt Operators
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Operating furnaces to melt raw metals or alloys according to specific formulas.
Monitoring temperature gauges, heating cycles, and molten metal flow.
Pouring liquid metal into molds or transferring it to holding ladles safely.
Conducting quality checks on raw materials and the final molten mixture.
Maintaining a clean and safe workstation, following strict safety protocols for handling high-temperature materials.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a foundry, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment preferred.
Ability to withstand high-heat environments and lift heavy materials (often up to 50 lbs).
Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and protective gear (PPE).
Deburring Operators
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Removing burrs, sharp edges, or excess material from machined metal or plastic parts.
Using hand tools, power tools, grinders, or automated deburring machines to smooth surfaces.
Inspecting finished parts visually or using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality blueprints and specifications.
Cleaning and maintaining deburring equipment and tools regularly.
Sorting and moving finished parts to the next production or inspection station.
Qualifications
Proven experience using hand tools, grinders, or working in a machine shop environment.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or instructions.
Shipping Department
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to transport and move heavy parts and materials within the facility safely and efficiently.
Load and unload heavy parts and materials as required.
Ensure proper handling and placement of parts to prevent damage during transport.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Forklift Operation certification required.
Ability to operate a forklift and handle heavy materials safely.
Must comply with all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
Work Hours
12 hour shift (8 hours until mass production starts)
12-hour rotating shift
Day Shift : 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift : 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
