    Lead Multirotor Systems Engineer
    Location: Austin, TX | Full-Time

    Synigent Technologies is seeking a Lead Multirotor Systems Engineer for a client in the Austin, TX region that will drive the development of next-generation UAV platforms from concept through production. This role will lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, RF, embedded software, and test engineers while owning overall vehicle architecture, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

    The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing multirotor drone systems, a strong understanding of flight dynamics and systems integration, and a proven track record of bringing UAV products from prototype to production. This individual will play a key role in shaping product strategy, guiding technical decisions, and helping build a world-class engineering organization.

    Key Requirements:
    • 5+ years of UAV or multirotor systems development experience
    • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
    • Strong knowledge of flight controls, propulsion systems, avionics, RF communications, and embedded systems
    • Proven success taking products from concept through validation and production
    • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field

    Preferred Experience:
    • PX4, ArduPilot, Betaflight, or custom flight-control systems
    • High-performance or FPV drone platforms
    • Aerospace, robotics, defense, or autonomous systems industries
