Municipal Engineer/Project Manager

Multi -disciplined consulting firm with established office looking to add a talented Municipal Engineer/Project Manager for their Champaign, Illinois team!

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>

• Project management duties (project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC)<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Prepare <\/span>details, specifications, and bidding documents<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• <\/span><\/span>Assume client relations duties such as attending council meetings with clients<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• <\/span><\/span>Design municipal infrastructure projects<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Mentor junior staff<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory permits <\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

   <\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/p>

  Requirements:<\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/p>

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • 5+ years of public works experience<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • PE License<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Experience in client and project management<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Extensive knowledge of regulations/requirements preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with funding and grants available to municipalities preferred<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
     <\/span><\/span>
    <\/div>

    Salary is commensurate with experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/a>
