The Opportunity
You'll serve as a dedicated Township and Borough Engineer for municipalities across Pennsylvania, guiding community development, public infrastructure, and regulatory compliance. This client-facing role puts you at the center of how communities grow — reviewing land development plans, designing stormwater systems, and representing engineering interests at municipal meetings. Your work will directly shape safer, more resilient public infrastructure.

Your Day-to-Day
- Serve as Township or Borough Engineer, providing direct technical support to municipal clients
- Attend municipal meetings and present technical findings with clarity and confidence
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with township and borough leadership
- Lead review of subdivision and land development plans for compliance with local zoning, grading, and stormwater ordinances
- Design stormwater management systems and detention basins
- Oversee infrastructure rehabilitation projects from concept through construction
- Prepare permitting packages for state and local agencies
- Produce technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments
- Manage escrow accounts, construction administration, and multi-stakeholder coordination
- Provide contract administration, budget tracking, and project coordination throughout construction phases
- Identify opportunities to expand municipal and utility engineering services and support regional business development
What We're Looking For
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 7–10 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on municipal engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania (required)
- Proven experience in municipal client representation, subdivision and land development plan review, and stormwater/drainage plan review
- Familiarity with MS-4 programs, including Pollutant Reduction Plans (PRPs)
- Public works design background
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
