Museum and Stadium Tour Guide (Part-Time)

Job Summary:The St. Louis Cardinals are seeking candidates for multiple Museum and Tour Guide openings! Primary duties will include giving guided tours of Busch Stadium and the Cardinals Museum, working with groups of all ages, assisting with guests entering each facility including ticket scanning, bag check and restroom access, and providing exceptional customer service.This is a part-time, year-round position with regularly scheduled hours throughout the year. Job Duties:Provide guided tours of Busch Stadium and Cardinals MuseumMemorize scripts, facts and stories pertinent to the history of the franchise and facilityRelate in a professional, age-appropriate way to childrenBe comfortable working with a specific schedule while standing/walking frequentlyEducation/Experience Required:High school diploma/GEDExperience with public speaking and experience working with childrenGood verbal and written communication and presentation skillsBe a fan of baseball and have a good understanding of the game and historyBe able to memorize specific facts and communicate professionally to all age groupsAbility to stand on feet and walk comfortably for long periods of timeAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduledEducation/Experience Preferred:College coursework in teaching, public relations, training, communications/public speaking or similar disciplineExperience with museum/attraction operationsExperience in teaching, training, public speaking and working with groups of 20+ peopleExperience working with childrenExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsBe a fan of baseball and have a good understanding of the game and historyBe able to memorize specific facts and communicate professionally to all age groupsAbility to stand on feet and walk comfortably for long periods of timeAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
