| Job Description: | The Communications Assistant works under the supervision of the Communications Specialist to support the development and execution of digital content for the Florida Museum of Natural History. This position assists with creating and assembling text, images and video content for use on Museum website projects, image galleries, marketing email layouts, and social media posts. This position assists with gathering analytics data for use in further analysis and supports basic maintenance tasks such as email list upkeep and website accessibility optimization as needed. This role also assists with the organization and maintenance of the Museum’s digital asset management system. The incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with constituents, museum staff, and supervisors both in writing and in person, remain well organized, follow direction and complete assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner. | Expected Salary: | Starting salary $43,000, commensurate with education and experience |
