Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to oversee all aspects of the Music and Electronics Departments: to

establish/maintain efficient and effective circulation of merchandise through the

implementation and constant refinement of the processing system; to assign and distribute

work; to schedule and deploy staff; to manage employee performance; to train, develop, and

lead department staff.

Job Requirements:

·        Ability to lead, inspire, and delegate.

·        Knowledge in the areas of video games, music and video.

·        Must have strong communication skills.

·        Must be organized and be able to handle multiple tasks of varying priorities.

·        Able to adapt to a flexible working schedule.

·        Able to evaluate and offer on department related product effectively.

·        Direct product pricing, stocking and presentation on the floor.

·        Have a desire to constantly learn and improve the department processes and functionality.

·        Have exceptional customer service skills and have the ability to handle complaints and upset customers as necessary.

·        Monitor department product inventory and communicate needs or over-supply to buyers as well as management.

·        Assume assigned shifts as Manager-On-Duty.

·        The ability to train and retrain coworkers.

·        Set the tone for the Bookmans Way.

This position is Full-time (minimum of 32 hours per week) and Must have Open Availability on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and be able to work 5 shifts per week.
