Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor to join our team at Katz Dalsey Academy Charter School during the afterschool program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various instruments and be enthusiastic about educating students in the 3rd and 4th Grade.

• INSTRUMENTS ARE PROVIDED

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead classes in subjects such as to learn an instrument
• Provide individualized or group instruction as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Provide exposure and opportunities for the students to play an instrument
• Participate in the Winter and/or Spring Concert

Skills

• Knowledge in teaching various instruments to individual or group
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for educating and inspiring students of all ages
• Previous experience as an instructor

Must pass a crimininal background check and provide basic information

Salary:

Hourly $25-40 an hour

Schedule:

Monday thru Thursday between the hours of 2:30pm to 5:30 pm (up to 12 hours a week)

(30 min block schedule per day)
