The Teacher is distinguished from other classes by the focus on educating students through classroom instruction as well as through specialized education and skills development programs in schools and throughout the District as Teacher Specialists.
Job Qualifications: Arizona Elementary or Secondary certificate with a Music PreK-12 endorsement or Arts Education Certificate. SEI endorsement preferred. Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Employment Information: 2026-27 school year; 194 work days (216 day teacher calendar) Locations: 0.5 FTE at Cerritos and 0.5 FTE at Monte Vista; alternating weekly between both schools. Start Date: July 8, 2026 (New Teachers) Salary link: Certified
