Music Teacher ~ Elementary School

Provide a comprehensive music curriculum that meets and /or exceeds Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks Prepare and execute well-prepared lesson plans that are engaging for students Maintain and repair musical instruments and equipment Work collaboratively with other specialists with scheduling, curriculum, instruction and assessment Provide structure and routines with clear expectations to facilitate a safe and engaged environment for students Provide students with clear behavior expectations Provide instrumental lessons with groups of students Work closely with other music teachers to schedule and coordinate student performances Other duties as assigned by the Principals Experience/knowledge in teaching in extended time periods Strong organizational, communication, and class management skills Knowledge of Music Technology
