About us
The Academy of Music is the largest professional music lesson studio in West Michigan. We offer private lessons for piano, voice & singing, electric & acoustic guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, drums, violin, viola and cello. In addition, we offer an introduction to musical theatre group class and a group piano lab. The Academy of Music is hiring qualified music teachers for piano, voice, guitar, drums, and strings at both their Jenison and Grand Rapids locations. A college degree in music is NOT required. Performance and teaching experience is helpful. A warm and friendly personality is important.
Music Teacher Responsibilities:
teach weekly private music lessons year round
teach 1-2 group Music Workshops per year
prepare students for and attend annual winter and spring recitals
prepare recorded lessons or teach live video lessons when students request them
