The Music Therapist is responsible for the assessment, development, and implementation of individualized music therapy interventions to support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities within Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) programs. This role promotes Active Treatment through structured, evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve communication, emotional regulation, behavioral outcomes, social engagement, and overall quality of life. The Music Therapist collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure therapy services are aligned with Individual Program Plans (IPP), behavioral support strategies, and clinical goals, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and documentation standards.
