Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree from an accrediteduniversity
- Board certification by the Certification Board for Music Therapists
Special Knowledge/Skills:- Effective/efficient oral and written communication
- Reliable transportation to/from work and between work-sites
- Efficient mobility within the work-site
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
- General knowledge of computer systems and software applications
- Ability to serve as professional student supervisor
Experience:- Experience in pediatrics and/or the school setting desirable
Major Responsibilities and Duties:- Use evidence in practice, evaluation, data collection, documentation and recommendations.
- Evaluate to determine educational need for services.
- Provide intervention to support student participation and performance in accordance with state laws and/or professional standards.
- Document and maintain service-related records.
- Participate in professional growth activities.
