This position will be located in Irvine and Duarte.
As a successful candidate, you will:
• Provide music therapy services to City of Hope patients as appropriate and upon referral by Physician. • Focus on providing direct patient care. • As a certified music therapist, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including but not limited to: • The Integrative Medicine Medical Director • Nurse practitioners • Social workers • Physical therapists • Psychiatrists • Pain management and palliative care clinics • Clinical researchers.
You will engage with oncology patients, couples, and families through therapeutic music activities, both individually and in a group setting.
Your qualifications should include:
Graduated from an American Music Therapy Association-approved university, acquiring a bachelors degree or higher in Music Therapy.
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of experience working as a music therapist.
Req. Certification: Licensure Board Certified Music Therapist MT-BC
