What You''ll Do
As a Music Therapist with ViaQuest, you''ll use evidence-based music therapy interventions to help individuals achieve meaningful goals and improve their quality of life.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing individualized music therapy services in home and community settings
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers
Developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans
Utilizing a strengths-based clinical approach
Supporting growth in:
Communication
Social interaction
Emotional regulation
Coping skills
Motor development
Cognitive functioning
Attention and focus
Body awareness and coordination
Using music to promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement
Maintaining accurate documentation and participating as an active member of each individual''s support team
