You’ll step into a role focused on leading structured music therapy programs for adults, including dementia-friendly respite groups and a community choir. You’ll have autonomy to guide sessions while working alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities
• Facilitate structured dementia respite groups
• Facilitate a dementia-friendly community choir
• Provide music therapy to all structured programs
• Develop, implement, and maintain materials and content for all group programs, both musical and non-musical in nature
• Screen prospective clients for admission to programs
• Conduct assessments of prospective clients for admission to programs
• Provide and maintain supportive and educational resources for caregivers
• Provide direct guidance and training to volunteers when interacting with clients
• Provide direct guidance and training to CNAs when interacting with clients
• Maintain up-to-date client information
• Maintain client notes within the guidelines of best practices
• Use clinical skills to redirect or de-escalate clients when needed
• Assist in facilitating educational seminars and trainings
What makes you a great fit
• You hold a BMT credential and are fully certified, or willing to become certified
• You have at least 2 years of experience working with adults in a clinical setting
• You’re comfortable leading group programs independently
• You value compassionate, team-based care
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $50,000 – $60,000
