Overview Kimley-Horns Denver, CO office is seeking an MV Collection System Engineer to support fast-paced, developer-driven renewable generation and BESS projects.
Responsibilities Design MV collection systems including feeder layouts, routing, and voltage drop. Develop and redline site layouts, one-lines, and schematic diagrams. Perform supporting electrical studies such as load flow and voltage drop. Coordinate closely with civil teams on trenching and duct bank design. Support utility interconnection reviews while maintaining developer schedules. Provide rapid engineering support during construction and commissioning.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 4+ years of MV power system or renewable energy design experience Strong ability to provide redlines and technical direction Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, and utility standards
Salary Range $99,000 - $130,000 Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
