Principal DutiesAs an Investigator, you will:Investigate motor vehicle fraud and other crimes, such as auto theft, chop shops, odometer fraud, and salvage vehicle fraud.Assist the Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division regulating the automobile industry.Regulate and issue licenses to New and Used Automobile Dealers, Crushers, Dismantlers, and Body Shops.The Ideal CandidateThe MVED Investigator II will assist the division in fulfilling the mission by:Conducting investigationsResearching and gathering evidenceInterviewing witnessesDocumenting the investigative processMay serve as an expert witnessConduct undercover operationsHave 5 years of law enforcement experience as an officer, investigator, deputy, etc.
