Description:
The Nuclear Planner 4 is responsible for developing comprehensive work packages and planning activities for nuclear plant operations, requiring 15+ years of nuclear planning experience, expertise in nuclear work package development, deep technical knowledge of plant systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (NRC, INPO, ASME, IEEE), with responsibilities including detailed work package creation, work order planning, job walks, material and labor identification, technical coordination with operations/maintenance/engineering, outage planning support, regulatory compliance, and ensuring configuration management, supported by skills in technical excellence, attention to detail, communication, analytical thinking, collaboration, and process knowledge; preferred qualifications include an engineering degree, multi?facility experience, background in operations/maintenance/engineering, senior planner experience, PWR/BWR familiarity, and Maintenance Rule knowledge

Role: N Planner Senior
Job Overview
This job develops work orders and preventive maintenance plans for implementation. Employees in this role work with station personnel to identify, create, and order parts for repair/replacement activities. This job requires planning for work packages for all types of work including, but not limited to Design Change Work Packages, Preventive Maintenance Work Packages, Corrective Work Packages, and defines the work standards to use for those activities. Discipline of work scope will include Mechanical, Civil, Instrument & Control, and Electrical.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze work order tasks required to implement preventive maintenance, modification, corrective, and surveillance activities
  • Develops work standards to support work packages
  • Provides guidance to more junior system planners to develop detailed elements of overall packages
  • Ability to create work packages for all disciplines, including but not limited to proficiency in generating weld data sheets in accordance with various ASME code and NextEra procedural requirements
Required Qualifications
  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Nuclear Experience: 7+ years
  • Experience using NAMS software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Trade School Graduate
  • Experience: 10+ years
  • Nuclear Experience: 10+ years
