The VISTA member will play a key role in expanding NAMI South Central Iowas impact by identifying underserved communities and creating strategic outreach efforts that increase access to mental health support.
They will build meaningful partnerships with local organizations and schools strengthening connections that extend NAMIs reach across 11 counties.
The VISTA will research develop and write grant proposals that secure sustainable funding while tracking progress to support long-term growth.
Through community engagement and relationship-building the VISTA will connect residents to free mental health education programs and support groups.
Their work will expand program access grow volunteer and community networks and build durable systems that ensure NAMI can continue delivering essential mental health services well into the future.
