Nanny / Household Assistant Position

Location: Baltimore, MD
Compensation: $30 per hour
Commitment Level: Full-time, long-term, live-out
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–7:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

A warm, family-oriented household in Baltimore is seeking an experienced, engaged Nanny to join them long-term. The family has one child, a 2-year-old daughter, who attends daycare Monday through Friday until 1:00 PM. The role centers on afternoon and early-evening care — daycare pickup, afternoon routines, active engagement and play, dinner, and the bedtime wind-down. The household keeps kosher and observes Shabbat, and the Nanny is expected to follow household kosher practice while working. The family values a positive attitude, strong communication, and a flexible approach to the rhythm of the day.

Responsibilities

• Attentive, engaged care for a 2-year-old during afternoon and early-evening hours
• Daycare pickup; additional transportation as needed
• Supporting afternoon, dinner, and bedtime routines
• Age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental engagement
• Child-related tidying, laundry, and meal preparation

Requirements

• Prior professional childcare experience with toddlers
• Valid driver's license and comfort driving daily
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Comfortable following a kosher household's practices
• Comfortable and confident swimming with a child
• Positive attitude, strong communicator, and adaptable day to day
• Vaccination preferred
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
