Nanny Position

Location: Cape May Court House, NJ
Compensation: $30/hour
Commitment Level: Part-time, long-term
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00am-4:00pm
Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week

Position Overview
A family in Cape May Court House is seeking a warm, engaged part-time Nanny to care for their 20-month-old daughter three days per week. This is a sole-charge role in a calm, single-child household on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a fenced yard and a friendly black Lab. The family is looking for someone with a genuine interest in early childhood development who can keep pace with an active toddler, bring structure and creativity to the day, and grow with the family long term.

Responsibilities

• Full charge care of an 18-month-old, including feeding, naps, diapering, and daily routines
• Age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental engagement
• Preparing the child's meals and snacks
• Child-related laundry and tidying
• Organizing and maintaining the playroom and child's spaces
• Light household duties directly related to the child
• Letting the family dog out into the fenced backyard as needed

Requirements

• Prior professional experience caring for infants and toddlers
• Background or strong interest in early childhood education or child development
• Valid driver's license
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
