Position Overview
A family on the Upper East Side is seeking an energetic, engaging, and reliable long-term full-time nanny for their two young children: a 4-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy. The family maintains a strict no-screen household (no TV, no iPads) and wants a nanny who keeps the children active and engaged through play, reading, and daily activities. This is a non-driving role — the area is walkable. The home is vegetarian and has two cats.

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, engaged, hands-on care for two children (ages 4 and 1)
- Maintain the children's daily routines and ensure their safety
- Walk the daughter to and from preschool (approx. 20-minute walk) and manage her daily activity schedule (gym, swim, playdates, park outings)
- Provide sole-charge care for the younger child during school hours — reading, play, and developmental engagement
- Lead age-appropriate, screen-free activities (no TV/iPads)
- Prepare children's meals and keep them on a fully vegetarian diet (no meat)
- Light cooking a plus (not required)
Requirements
- Experience caring for two children, including infants
- Clear, fluent spoken English; comfortable reading aloud to a young child
- Energetic, engaging, and proactive
- Able to swim and comfortable swimming with the children
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Comfortable in a no-screen household
- Comfortable in a vegetarian household
- Comfortable in a home with two cats
- Hebrew-speaking a plus
- Reliable and responsible
- Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
